At Design for a Cure, we are constantly seeking the support of individuals who want to get involved, support research and awareness of Colon Cancer, and want to become a part of our enthusiastic team! Each volunteer helps bring us closer to our goal to support the research to fight colon cancer and spread awareness. Every individual makes a difference, join below and become a part of our team!

Where do we need volunteers?
• Chicago Rock ‘n Roll Half Marathon; August 1, 2010
Want to be a part of the action on race day? Design for a Cure will be hosting a team for the Half Marathon on August 1, 2010 beginning at 7am.

Our volunteers will be responsible for:
• Wearing the DFAC t shirts
• Passing out water to the runners
• Cheer on the runners
• Working in our tent passing out pamphlets about our organization, speaking to tent visitors about the importance of early detection for colon cancer, and handing out information about our Fall Interiors Event.

Design for a Cure: Interiors Event; September 10, 2010
• Our Second Annual Fall Interiors. We need your help to make this event a success! Be a part of the action, help to fund colon cancer research and awareness, and see the beautiful luxury rental units that will be featured in our event!

Volunteers will:
• Assist in directing guests within the event
• Assist with operational needs of the event
• Assist after the event on September 11 and 12, to assist in tours of the decorated units
